Dyfed Powys Police Federation members are being urged to sign up to attend the final Election Cafe event today (Monday 21 June) to learn more about the role of a workplace representative.

Members who are considering standing for election but are still undecided could, by attending the cafe, be inspired to step forward after taking up the chance of meeting a Fed rep for an informal chat about the challenging but incredibly rewarding work they carry out.

The Election Cafe event is part of the ongoing Reps@Work campaign which highlights the work carried out by the workplace reps.

Dyfed Powys branch secretary Roger Webb said: "We would encourage all our members to sign up for this event. Hopefully it will lead to more members putting themselves forward for the role before the nominations close in the coming weeks.

"I would particularly urge members from under-represented groups to register, attend and find out more."

The Election Cafe will be open from 2pm until 3pm today.
