Dyfed Powys Police Federation has paid tribute to three detective constables who died on 18 October 1990.
DCs Leonid Evans, Roger Meyrick and Nicholas Tabraham were fatally injured in a collision with a lorry while on surveillance training. A fourth colleague, DC Paul Hetherington, died of his injuries on 29 October.
Leonid was 41, Roger was 37 and Nicholas was 29.
Dyfed Powys Federation chair Gareth Jones said: “Today we remember the deeply tragic loss of Leonid, Nicholas and Roger on what was a very dark day for everyone within the Force. Our thoughts are with their friends, family and former colleagues as they continue to live with their grief and keep the memory of these three officers alive.
“We also appreciate that today must be difficult for Paul’s family and friends too and we have them in our thoughts too.”
