Chair encourages members to nominate volunteers for prestigious awards

Dyfed Powys Police Federation chair Gareth Jones has issued a heartfelt thank-you to the Force’s volunteers.

And as Volunteers’ Week draws to a close, he’s encouraging members to nominate their volunteer colleagues for prestigious awards.

Gareth said: Thank you to all of our volunteers who do an amazing job. They give their own time to support the Force’s work and keep our communities safe.

“Their range of thinking, variety of skills and wealth of experience make a huge difference to policing and hopefully we help them to grow in their own roles outside the Force.
