Federation pays tribute to fallen officers

Dyfed Powys Police Federation was today marking the anniversary of the deaths of three officers in a traffic accident.

DC Leonid Evans, 41, DC Nicholas Tabraham, 29, and DC Roger Meyrick, 37, were all killed on 18 October 1990 when they were in collision with a lorry while on surveillance training.

Branch chair Gareth Jones said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and former colleagues of these three fallen heroes.

“We will never forget the sacrifices they made 33 years ago through their dedication to service.”
